Also not at all the first thought i should have but this probably opens the Angels back up as a Bauer contender since Callaway will be gone, and Bauer has made his feelings about him well known.

 

This makes the Mets (and Sandy) look so much fucking worse. Really, really disappointed in the last few weeks as a Mets fan. "Worst kept secret in sports", per the article, makes it feel hard to believe they didnt know about this, and it makes me feel worse about the Jared Porter stuff. Cohen would love some good PR and, from what I have heard via NY beat report twitter, after the Porter situation Cohen was "livid" with Sandy for his apparent bad hiring process. I think it could happen.

 

That's good to hear that he isn't completely on Sandy's side after all that. Cohen seems to be a to decent person and wants to give Mets fans something to look forward to. Hope he follows through
