More than ever this year it really didn’t matter who won the rumble. Yeah Keith Lee would have been great, but what exactly has he done leading up to this? Bryan or AJ could be solid but I haven’t even seen or heard them really talk about being champion. Big E seems like a good choice but again, they don’t do jack shit with him. So why not Edge? Or Rollins? Or Bo Dallas for that matter? Doesn’t seem like they have any plan at all. And that’s not a defense but really a criticism. It’s like they are incapable of setting anything up besides who is already the challenger.

 

I disagree, it will bring more viewers.

I know this is lame to say by now, but if there are 2 guys I really wish would leave WWE and go to AEW it's Cesaro and especially Daniel Bryan.

 

Bryan ain't leaving. Dude has a job for life and is high member up on creative. Cesaro could definitely leave. That said, I like Edge winning. He didn't need it, but who cares. Edge/Drew or Edge/Roman are both exciting matches. Plus the Edge returning story and going on to win the Rumble is something that straight up just feels good. Finally got his revenge on Randy as well. The match was meh, but the finish was pulled off phenomenally

Only on this website would a feel good story like Edge winning the Rumble a year after coming back from retirement be seen as a bad thing.

 

Man, happy to win the draw but sure bummed about the end result.

The Men's Rumble underlined exactly what's wrong with modern WWE. A dude who is fragile as fuck getting a Mania push 10 years after his retirement. (And don't get me started on "One more concussion is it" Christian being out there.)

 

I'm cool with it. Edge is one of my all time favorites, but at the same time he wasn't one of my top choices lol

 

Hurricane showed up so this Rumble was an immediate success to me. Also I love how many deathmatch wrestlers on Twitter were marking out over Billie Kay.

 

Yeah, Bryan was my top pick to win. But the story they could tell with Edge, whatever it may be, can be great... as long as Orton isn't involved *crosses everything*

 

Also I hate those 8k cameras for the entrances. It kept looking like something from a video game and I was too high and it was just fucking with me the entire time.

 

I don’t mind the 8k during normal entrances when the wrestlers are walking their normal cadence but it was bad during the rumble. There were a lot of times it was just everything out of focus

 

The only two competitors under 30 years old in the Rumble were Otis and Dominik Mysterio.

 

I actually wonder how a cash in on a Last Man Standing match would work. I know when Rollins cashed in at Mania years back, he was just inserted into that match. How would it work with this stipulation though? Would Miz still get to attempt a pinfall? Does it become a triple threat LMS match and two guys have to be down for a count of 10 for the third guy to be declared a winner?

There were also rumors that Rosenberg was paying WWE just to work for them, which is so silly. Whether or not you like the dude, he works for one of the biggest radio stations in NYC and ESPN. His resume is legit.

ref was counting, hit six, and realized Roman was struggling to get the cuffs off so he stopped counting. Roman got up to a squat, but it was still fucked.

 

Lol yeah, I saw that but wasn't 100% paying attention. I just really wanted that match to end at that point.
