I guess you could be a tweener. You had the most posts in the last thread so I just equated that with main event baby face status, especially now that Henry has gone corporate.

goddammit i wanted my own battle royal. anyway, when are the prediction cards for takeover and mania coming out? if your too busy for it ill handle the mania prediction cards.

 

I don't think Takeover cards are as practical. We only get them every three months or so. That's a long time to hold a belt. Unless you are Jay Lethal.

Takeover cards could act as an IC title. Or just add a point to the winners Mania card

 

Yeah i'd take it easy on Lee and just have him do the Mania cards. We could probably just post whatever our Takeover predictions are without it being a competition.

 

Although I've done them in the past, I'm not doing one for this Takeover because 1) it's a fairly simple PPV, booking-wise and 2) there's already too much stuff going on this weekend.

The Mania card is already done. I always wait until after Smackdown in case there are any last second changes.

don't we only have one world championship though? someone could win it at takeover and then pull a Christian and lose it the same week. Only it would be more embarassing because instead of losing it on Smackdown, the person couldn't even hold it until the Raw after mania.

*edit i just saw M. Lee's reason for not posting Takeover predictions and it sounds pretty reasonable. also are you turning heel M. Lee?

Are you referring to the NXT title? Because it doesn't work like that. The NXT title hasn't changed hands at a tv taping since the Network went live.

 

I had to look senzu bean up but that seems right on the money with his gimmick, haha.

I'd never have a separate title for NXT. That's just dumb. No brand splits over here on AP ...I mean forum.whatever

Whenever I make Takeover cards, it's always gonna be for extra points on the next PPV. And if they ever double-book like this again, I doubt I'll do one.

 

I said it in the old thread, but IMO there is absolutely no way someone not already signed by NXT is going over. He hasn't been announced for it yet but my bets are on them using the tournament to debut and push Manny in a big way.
