If I added my personal slimmed down version of the Trilogy then I'd probably place it between RR & 21CB, but the actual release suffers greatly from the whole quantity over quality thing.

 

I like both FOAM and the trilogy a lot more than most people on here seem to, but come on, you have to be trolling with this.

 

People like Nimrod way more than I do. Nimrod is near the bottom for me. You could cut Worry Rock -> Jinx + Take Back, then maybe it wouldn’t feel incredibly bloated.

Dookie, Warning, and AI are perfect, all timers. Insomniac, Rev Rad, and 21 are pretty damn good. See notes above on Nimrod, Kerplunk is cannon. Everything else could never exist and the world would be better for it.

people like warning a lot more than I do. i think it'd be a perfect EP of, like, 6 songs, but it's their most uneven of the albums from dookie through to American idiot imo

 

interesting. I think it’s perfect. Which ones don’t you like?

a few others I don't "not like" but just don't blow me away like the other albums

 

Warning is interesting because it feels overrated these days because it was so underrated when it came out.

 

Misery is a top 5 song from them for me. Just love how freakin' odd it was and wish they took more chances like that.

I think Warning is pretty overrated. Except for Warning, Waiting, Minority I guess Macy’s Day Parade for some, the songs just aren’t there. Mostly good songs, but not really great songs.

They're my favorite band though so I don't really dislike any of this. Everyone has that one musical artist that can do no wrong in their eyes, Green Day is that for me

Yeah that’s pretty close to mine. I’d flip 2 and 4, and flip 6 and 8, and put 39/Smooth above trilogy and FOAM. Those bottom two are in a category of their own though lol

 

I tried Nimrod again and I still just don't like it as a whole. Hitchin' a Ride kills, though.
