i am very excited for this. KotM was fun as hell also.

 

I enjoyed King of the Monsters in theaters but this trailer didn't do much for me honestly. Def will be watching on HBO Max though

 

I just want balls to the wall. Cut the human shit by 50% at least.

 

BTH is the only human i want anything from in this

 

I feel like none of these movies ever need to be longer than an hour and 45 minutes. Just give me the most basic set up and then... let them fight.

 

yep. when they tried to do too much with the family dynamic/story in KotM i just got bored as hell of that and wanted them all to get eaten.

 

Didn’t help that very little of it actually made any sense at all

 

I don't understand how anyone in their right mind could feel like there wasn't too much human bullshit in KotM, even if you thought it was well done, which I don't. Simply far too much of it weighing down what should have been a really fun movie.

 

surely theres a simpler and less convoluted way of getting all these monsters to fight each other. then again im not a screenwriter so what do I know?

 

The plot to like twenty different Godzilla movies is aliens coming down and mind-controlling the monsters. One of them included cockroaches from a destroyed planet who took over corpses and opened a Godzilla theme park. I shit you not.

I’m aware of the zaniness of the history of Godzilla haha. Ghidora should have just showed up from space and laid waste to earth and Godzilla would have to stop him. A family drama subplot + the eco terror subplot + plus the communication device macguffin was bleh.

 

I hope my king GdT can make this happen one day.
