This is definitely how it should be.

Casuals 100% turn on Mcgregor now. He looked rusty in that second round, and was lights out. He can win his next three and never live down the upset of tonight haha.

 

Damn, Conor didn’t check any of those kicks until it was way too late lol. When he came out in the second, he couldn’t get out of the way of any of those shots because of it. Not much to say other than that it was a good fight. I did think Conor looked a bit slow and stiff though, so it made sense when he mentioned ring rust.

I’m super happy for Dustin, but I really wish they’d sort out the title picture. He should logically be the champion and defend against Chandler or Oliveira.

I also took the inactivity thing as a shot at Dana tbh. He refused to book Conor last year lol

Taking off a year in between every fight probably hurts Conor but I thought he still looked sharp until his leg was dead. I think I give more credit to Dustin than to say Conor looked bad.

This fight is making me want to get back into UFC. Been a while since I actively followed the sport.

 

you should. there’s some fantastic cards coming up. including about six titles fights in the next two months.

 

Khabib retiring is going to make the LW division pretty wild. I think there are 5-6 guys who are all in legit title contention.

 

I mean, a rusty Conor is still sharp and ultra-dangerous so it’s not like it’s an insult or taking away from Dustin. It’s just that he would have to be on top of his game to deal with all of the things that Dustin presented because Dustin is probably the best in the division besides Khabib.
