truly. i keep clicking shit like this hoping, at the very least, the comments are about how fucking crazy the person sounds but it's always people agreeing. there just isn't any coming back from this

 

and theres like endless amount of comments on that video

luckily about half of them are canadian fuckwits

shit is unreal and we are fucked

 

So this is my 4th year teaching senior level English where I'm at, and we've always done a unit on cults this time of year (Jim Jones, Jim Bakker, Waco) paired with dystopic literature.

This is the first year I've been uncomfortable doing the unit. I'm in prime Trump country (mid Missouri), and it's just so bizarre... the sheer disconnect.
