Yeah, that's what Scovel's Dads podcast is on and some other. I am bummed every time I hear Jeff Ross is an EP on the podcasts on their network. Although, not sure anything ever came out after that accusation.

Getting back into British panel/reality comedy shows (8 Out of 10 Cats,...Does Countdown, Taskmaster, Big Fat Quiz). Any recs for similar?

 

Would I Lie To You is one of the funniest shows on TV. Lee Mack, Rob Brydon, David Mitchell, and guests. All telling stories and trying to work out if it's a lie or not.

I honestly wouldn't know if it's all on there. I wouldn't have thought so cause of licensing things. Clips for sure though.

 

The Last Leg is another that I've heard is good but haven't ever really watched. That might be worth checking out.

 

Just looked it up, and it seems promising as well.

 

As someone who's fallen deep into the panel show wormhole, Taskmaster and Would I Lie To You are my two favorites, there are some good full episodes of Would I Lie To You, but the clips are all over and honestly much more fun. Here's a few favorites:

The massive hour long compilations of Lee and David are incredible, and the ones for the best guests are great as well, I personally think Bob Mortimer can't be topped, James Acaster's is very good as is Claudia Winkelman.

 

Bob Mortimer is low key the most naturally funny British comedian. His style is so perfect for those shows.

 

If anyone has an hour or two just watch Bob Mortimer WILTY compilations, there's two and then another episode he's been in since, he kills me everytime

 

Bob Mortimer is consistently funny on that show. His Instagram character “Jeff Linton” the London high roller is really funny too.

Kevin bridges episode is probably the funniest I’ve seen though.

 

Listening to the new Pete and Sebastian show podcast. Nearly crying Pete talking about his fathers death.

 

If we’re looking up british panel show comps, I like joy lycett (spelling?) reading his letters on cats does countdown. But I agree, Bob mortimer is a legend on WILTY. I am also a big fan of this David O’Doherty clip:

Oh, also any of the compilations of Joe Wilkinson on cats does countdown. Consistently the best part of the show.
