Is it weird that this is the album I’ve looked forward to the most? They’ve bashed on this album a bit in the past, so I’m wondering what (if anything) they’re going to change about it.

Unicorn's a keeper. I also agree I'm most excited for NS despite it being my least favorite Anberlin record. I'm always psyched to see songs played live for the first time.

agree 100%. Of all their albums, this seems to be the one they like least, but this was the album that introduced me to them, so I’ve been so excited for this

 

When the band comes out for this livestream with homemade unicorn heads on...

 

Please tweet at them that this random dude on a music forum accidentally put a unicorn in his post and got the most likes of his music forum career for it so they know that they need to do this.

 

Totally agree with this, but very disappointed that the unicorn wasn't acknowledged. Good job, but do better.

I think I read once that the whole album theme is based on a unicorn.

 

No unicorn, but I did get Stephen to mention my request for Elmo’s World. So I feel like a success.

 

It was a great stream. Enjoyed it more than I expected to. A little concerned when they mentioned more streams that weren't going to be album shows...first because why stop at NS? You only have three more awesome records left, play em. And second because if you're not going to play albums for the next streams..what are you going to do? I'm not interested in seeing the older songs replayed at this point so...

 

Didn't watch last night's yet, so I didn't hear the full comment, but maybe they could do a stream of cover songs, b-sides, or an acoustic set? I do agree though, at this point into their discography why not just finish it out?

 

I wish they’d re-run the first stream, which I think was acoustic(?). I missed that one and would like to see it.

If they aren’t doing more records, I guess they could do a ‘Lost Songs’ sort of thing with a set full of covers?

 

I have so eagerly been awaiting DITWLIAP and Vital/Devotion, so I really hope they happen eventually.

 

They prob would have to put in a shit ton of work to tackle those other records in full. Not sure they are down for that. Really just want some new music news at this point.

 

Paper Tigers was my first livestream and wow, it was excellent. So great to hear those songs played livestream. Think Stephen flubbed a chorus in Soft Skeletons if I remember but all in all, they sounded awesome even on my old tv. Excited to get the mixed/mastered version eventually.

 

That’d be sad if true. Just finish the last three!

And then drop the surprise new album.
