Have you never had friends on Facebook who put BSc in their name or whatever field their degree was in?

I mean fair play, some people feel more pride in that stuff, I don't know.

 

No 9th grader has ever said "maybe now they'll pass" unless it ended with "that weed"

 

no, and most of my friends these days just graduated from a masters program but you wouldn't know it lol

 

After that whole dumb DOCTOR Jill Biden controversy, some tweet went viral calling for all women to put their credentials in their Twitter name.

 

I'm hesitant to knock it. People work their ass off for advanced degrees. I got an M.S. in the past couple years and most people I know probably have no idea (except for me not complaining about the lack of free time anymore haha).

 

Oh, gotcha. This thread is 90% of my exposure to twitter, so I tend to miss things like that

I have a phd and the only social media thing i hold it on is linkedin.

That being said, i dont have a problem with public people carrying titles on social media. Especially women after that misogynistic debate about Jill Biden.

 

For those who didn't get the stimulus because of the error we were talking about a couple days ago, looks like TurboTax and HR Block are finally going to make it right. My girlfriend received an email from TurboTax that they're working on fixing it and funds should be deposited in a few days.

Yep. My wife got hers this morning. Her status on the IRS site said it wasn’t available.

 

I hope the other tax preparation companies do the same because I’m still out stimulus and it’s still says not available
