Looks like Ozil to Fenerbahce is picking up steam.

  3. losing to united would be significantly more annoying than city, though

  4. but beating them would be so much sweeter

Fairly normal performance for us this season if you take out the last few weeks.

I think pep has it figured out right now with Rodri and Gundogan in the midfield. It’ll be interesting to see what happens if Jesus or Aguero ever start scoring again.

So the game vs Everton gets called off when there are new cases on matchday but the game vs ManUtd is not?

Sebastian Haller joining Ajax from West Ham for 25million, which will break their record transfer (£6m more than David Neres in 2nd who was 19m)...…...what?! I do not see why they would pay such a large fee for him if I'm honest.

This is total misinformation for this thread. It’s FA Cup weekend for the men’s game. The tweet is about the women’s team.

  22. oh my bad I should've posted it in there.

It's just wild how we're seeing such an upswing in cases within clubs and they are still trying to make it work. The entire country is on lockdown for same reasons the league should be. I know there is the argument that the players can't be trusted to stay at home if the season was paused, but I think that's just on them and no excuse to keep putting other players and staff members who follow protocols at risk.

So the fA have come out and acknowledged that the reason Cavani was banned is because he didn’t consider that others could be offended by his post.

If it’s his page, and he’s posting totally normal and inoffensive stuff that’s native to his culture and language, why the fuck was he banned? Shouldn’t the onus be on whoever might be offended to go and do the research to see if what he said is acceptable in the given context or not?

As a Canadian and an English speaker, my first reaction isn’t going to be shock in dismay at what he posted, i’m going to assume that there’s a cultural disconnect given that i’m looking at a post from a Uruguayan man in his native tongue.

Honestly reading about the case has been really eye opening. I cannot believe the FA have doubled down and effectively shifted the blame to United for not giving him sufficient cultural training. The number of players associations and Uruguayan organisations that're coming out and saying the FA have no clue what they're talking about, and still they double down.

It’s just classic xenophobia! We don’t understand it, therefore we fear it. How dare you post something we don’t understand, we have no choice but to punish you. You’re in our land now, and you have to cater to fat prick brexit dave at the pub who gets scared every time he sees a word that ends in a vowel.
