The thing is basically today is the last major hurdle to clear before the inauguration. I was somewhat convinced that there would be at least a few heavily armed protests following the calling of the election or the electoral college vote. Now they're trying to take over the Capitol building basically just by pushing their way in. I'm not ready to say that it won't happen (considering that American Republicans are probably the most heavily armed civilian population in the world) but to me I'm beginning to get the feeling that this is just going to be a drawn out temper tantrum from the right

And Trump will keep fundraising off of made up dates where they can still win if enough people show their support by rioting.
