I'd say the majority of the people in this thread are absolutely further left than "typical libs". Unless you wanted a republican speaker, this was the move to make. There aren't enough progressives in Congress yet, and we need to boost those numbers in our elections.

 

He started working with a foreign power to selectively release emails, complete with highlighted text to make trivial and normal shit seem nefarious, all to get the alt-right into power in the executive branch, and then followed that up by doubling down on his support of and working with said people.

And he did it using the same BS talking points that people like GG and Gabbard have hidden behind—-this fake idea that Trump somehow isn’t a militant president and thus is better than “the establishment”.
