One of the greatest rappers of all time. His run from Operation: Doomsday through to the JJ Doom album is one of the greatest in hip hop and has at least 3 or 4 classics in there.

Definitely deserving of his own thread.

The DangerDoom album is severely underrated.

It's really hard to rank these. I just know for sure that Mm Food and Madvillany are my favorites.

Madvillain is my favourite by far. I'd say that Operation: Doomsday and MM...FOOD are probably equal to me. Whenever I think i've decided on a favourite of the two, I listen to the other one and change my mind again haha

 

Spinning Doomsday now. Been forever since I listened, so good.

 

Why do I hardly ever listen to the King Geedorah album?? It’s got some of his best production.

 

Didn’t know we had a thread. Doomsday has gotta be my actual favorite, but weirdly what I’ve probably listened to most of his over the years are the Special Herbs tapes. Long before the “chillhop” wave, those got me through about a thousand study sessions and papers in college. They’re still a go to for me when I just need some noise on in the house haha.

 

Said it before and I’ll say it again... underrated album

 

It’s my second favorite of his after Madvilliany. Never gets the love it deserves.

 

I’ve only heard Madvillainy, but I love it. I’ve been meaning to listen to more.
