    hmmm

Arguably yeah. At the moment I think he either plays up front or he doesn't play at all. He's ruining Chelsea's build up playing deeper.

No I don’t think they are, but I think their problems last year defensively weren’t solely down to personnel but set up. They set up in the match against us very defensively and we’re shockingly solid. Whereas here I think Lampard smelled blood in the water and they’re truly fucking it up. That said, only one goal is from open play, but Arsenal could have more from open play. But they seem allergic to doing that when they mean it.

Ellis Simms gets his first start for Everton tonight. Gordon is also starting.

Chelsea doing the get it wide and cross it in without Giroud to finish in the middle is a wild approach to this strategy

Bought FM 2021. First save is to try make Schalke less shit. Fuck it’s so annoying seeing McKennie out on loan.

Schalke loaning McKennie to Juventus is BAFFLING. But I’m guessing Juventus will buy him over the summer while Schalke go down.

Yeah pretty sure they have a future fee in there.

With better finishing, it’s 3-3. Insane misses by Thiago Silva and Jorginho in the last 3 minutes.

I know we were clinging on a little at the end but we fucking deserved that win and that is so nice to say.

Playing a younger team was what we have wanted for so long and ESR, Saka and Martinelli showed up today. Brilliant performance despite missing our best striker, defender and midfielder, and having two or three other big players missing.

    same lineup next game please.

YES LADS TOP OF THE TABLE!!! Absolute masterclass at the Allianz. Three penalties, two to them and one to us. :crylaugh:

fuck me schalke are absolutely awful and the board wants us to finish top half. If we finish 17th that would be an achievement.

This years FM is so strange. I went 6 weeks without a win in any competition between mid September and early November yet wasn’t sacked, and am now beating absolutely everyone including Man City to move up to third by NYD.

I got beaten by lower league Paderborn in the DFB Pokal a week before that Bayern match. Gave out to the team and I shit you not half the team is now upset at me. Shite mentality in this team.

  15. If Everton doesn’t get 3 points here then today went perfect for Spurs. A win tomorrow in that scenario would put us back in 2nd place.

Is Gylfi back to being good now? I feel like his career at Everton was looking dead and people saying he was gassed. But seems like he's been quietly doing an okay job recently?

He deserves some plaudits for his recent performances. Not necessarily just for his technical displays either, he has really stepped up leadership wise.

    5 minutes added? For what?

  20. What’s your take on Sabitzer? I’ve seen him play a decent amount and he looks like a versatile player but I can’t pin down exactly where he should be playing. You always have better insight on the Bundesliga guys.

It’s almost like signing an unfit player who hasn’t been good for a long time, just because he is a club legend, was a bad idea lads...

This is such a shitty interview. Blame the players to deflect from your shire tactics like sending in 8m crossed and leaving Giroud on the bench, or leaving your full backs totally exposed all game, or playing your best striker at LW and your best LW at RW...

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Lampard is not good and if Chelsea want to salvage their season they need to get someone competent.

I think they will stick with him until the end of the season. Chelsea with a good manager and some defensive purchases could be very scary.
