Yeah Aloha would likely fit here except that it’s infamous for the whole whitewashing controversy. I don’t remember seeing a single thing said about the actual quality of the movie so I assume it was bad but not laughably so

 

I know about it because of Cameron Crowe, it's his only movie I haven't seen though because of the poor reception.

No it is laughably bad! Seriously Bradley Cooper stops a satellite armed with nuclear weapons by uploading a bunch of Classic Rock to it! Also there are ghosts in like one scene that never get brought up again!?!?

Aloha was another in long line of disastrous Cameron Crowe films. People gave him too much credit with Almost Famous and he ran with it.

 

We Bought A Zoo gets too much shit for being a totally OK movie. It's enjoyable and completely inoffensive. Elizabethtown is actually underrated though, good movie.

 

Elizabethtown? You mean the movie where the main character tries to commit suicide by taping a kitchen knife to an excercise bike?

 

I saw aloha in theaters and remember nothing about it.

My mom was fucking obsessed with this book. Can't remember if she felt the same way about the film though

Not surprisingly, critics I trust say it's terrible. For a second I thought Bella Thorne was the main lead from 13 Reasons Why.
