I'm simply in awe at how much Star Wars content we're getting the next several years. It's soooo cool how we're finally going to explore more of the fringe stories in this universe

 

and that they learned that people like shows more than movies

 

Cheaper and more flexible too

 

As a weirdo who likes movies more than shows, I’m not crazy about this for myself, though I’m happy for people who are into all this.

If I hear that the Boba Fett show works for someone not into the Mandalorian, etc., I’ll check it out. It’s the most intriguing Star Wars Disney+ show to me outside of Obi-Wan. Happy for Ming-Na Wen having a starring role.

 

So we’re just gonna give everyone who works on The Mandalorian a tv show or movie except Rick Famuyiwa, I see how it is

 

Ideally that means he gets more mando which i'd be supportive of.

 

He is by far the show's best director, but looking at his IMDB, it looks like he's going to be very busy with other projects in the near future. He's also rumored to be directing Children of Blood and Bone, which is being produced by Lucasfilm.

 

Personally I’d rather see something he’s in full creative control of than just 1 or 2 episodes a season, but I’ll take anything Star Wars from him. He’s by far been my favorite creative voice on The Mandalorian

 

My drum student just brought me a Baby Yoda funko for Christmas. I've trained him well.

 

As promised, the aforementioned episode of Bantha Fodder with Bobby Darling (Gatsbys, American Fail, The Money Pit, Acceptance, etc.).

In addition to discussion around all of the new Star Wars announcements from Investor Day, topics include: Vader vision, sexy Bothans, Willow, and... Hawkeye? My mistake, inviting another Marvel fan onto the show.

 

Listening to this right now. About an hour in so far. Great listen while doing house work.

 

Rewatching RotJ and I must say that even though the movie starts off with Vader saying the Emperor is mad about the status of construction of the Death Star, he seems pretty chill about it throughout the movie.

 

So the movie isn’t that good huh

 

I don’t remember there being music on Jabbas barge on the way to the Sarlacc. But I do remember Max Rebo being there.

 

But did you remember Droopy McCool?

 

Got some star wars stuff for Christmas. The lightsabers are chopsticks lol

 

I got my daughter that small Ashoka action figure. The funko pop is clutch.

My modest SW haul this year. Somehow my mom knew I was in the mood for a puzzle and hooked it up with this Boba on Bespin piece.

The figs are from a coworker of hers that has given me SW collectibles for years without any explanation. Nice dude that apparently has tons of dupes and a daughter that’s just not into the franchise. With the Rogue Squadron news, I’m stoked to finally own a Wedge!
