I haven’t seen Collateral yet

 

if I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times - American Hustle is the most forgettable movie experience I have ever had. It was like they did the Men in Black memory eraser thing and I just woke up two hours later. Couldn't tell you one thing about it other than it allegedly stars Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, and Jennifer Lawrence.

 

You should.

 

Collateral is exceptional

 

You gotta. Tom Cruise was born to play a villain

 

I’d have to look at his body of work but I think that’s easily my favorite Cruise performance / character

 

The only thing I remember from American hustle is Christian bale having a hair piece.

 

What was the deal with American Hustle? I also saw it but don't remember much except the "science oven" part. I guess that answers my own question lol

 

i cannot understate how much i love what ruffalo is doing in collateral. chefs kiss.

 

collateral is top tier mann, though i’ll always wonder what could’ve been as far as adam sandler playing jamie foxx’s character

 

I love showing pictures of him in that to people that have only seen him in Marvel stuff. What a choice.

 

Mark Ruffalo is probably the most interesting actor who has been absorbed by the franchise machine. He was consistently in good work.

 

you're forgetting foxcatcher. it's okay, it's better off forgotten.

 

I wouldn't fault an actor working with Bennett Miller coming off Capote and Moneyball. Channing Tatum is good in it too. I can see why people don't like Foxcatcher, particularly in regards to the makeup, but I still found it interesting.

 

Guess I need to watch Collateral

 

I disliked Carroll’s reserved performance more after watching the 30 for 30 doc on DuPont where he was much more energetic and charismatic when on camera and coaching

 

Mark Ruffalo is very good in zodiac, easily my fav performance from that one

 

Imagining one of the cartel boss guys taking a single look and him and immediately knowing he’s clearly a cop

 

Ruffalo did Collateral, Eternal Sunshine, and 13 Going On 30 the same year which is insane

 

yeah zodiac is his best performance. it’s also one of the best movies the last 20 years

well they all came out the same time year I don't know when they were filmed haha, same with Kirsten having Eternal Sunshine and Spiderman 2 come out the same year

 

Ruffalo looked so young in Eternal Sunshine tho!

 

I am happy that American Psycho (film) has been getting a solid critical reappraisal recently

 

What do you mean? It has been pretty well-received for a while.
