I think people are going to wonder if Taylor shows up at every Big Red Machine performance from now on

I really don't like a lot of Reputation. I don't think it's bad to say I prefer a Taylor writing with/inspired by Dessner and Bon Iver rather than collaborators/features like Ed Sheeran and Future.

reputation is so underrated, and Ed/Future are only on one track out of 15 so it's note quite the same to compare them to Dessner/Vernon

Let's not forget the actual jam of the year

Fair from a songwriting standpoint, but I really think there is something to seeking out who you want featured on the album that *could* give a glimpse of where the artists' head was out when making the album. I could understand some thinking that is a stretch.

The only recent album of Taylor's I don't connect with is Lover. Reputation, 1989 - both amazing. I don't care much for the country albums, either, but admittedly I haven't ever given them enough of a listen.

Lover definitely has some amazing songs on there (False God, Lover, Cruel Summer, Cornelia Street), but they get buried in a bloated tracklisting with a lot of duds. Reputation is far from her best, but it's a much easier album to listen to front to back than Lover, so I'd rank it above it.

That makes a ton of sense, as the "Sorry for not winning you an arcade ring" lyric was very National-y.

Lol very true. This would be a poor time to keep one of the biggest superstars in the word as a surprised guess

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

I think her misstep lately was working with Joel Little. The songs are good pop songs but just not that TS standard.

I wonder if we’ll ever get to see Justin and Taylor perform in the flesh together. Wonder if he’d do whatever it’s take to perform at the Grammys.

A live performance of Evermore might kill me. The Long Pond Sessions version of Exile was so good.

I don't know what happened with this year's lineups carrying over but if festivals happen next year I was thinking Taylor headlining with BI and/or The National on line 2 or 3 would make a ton of sense. Picturing her getting one of the 2-3 hour Bonnaroo sets and doing a full half of it as the folklore/evermore band and it would be maaagic

real question, would any BI or The National fans be able to get tickets to that? that's the only reason I could see her being a surprise feature, her fans would figure out how to get all the tickets.

Yeah, almost certainly not unless some kind of priority purchasing was set up through past attendance or Spotify plays. I meant to say 'one of the big ones' in my post for that exact reason.

    what a waste of wood

what we know now about them leaving the fairgrounds and moving to downtown for something that resembles SXSW it would definitely be interesting to see

Im probably wrong about this but it’s kind of hard to imagine fans of TSwift that really could care less about the rest of a lineup EXC would offer flocking en masse to northern Wisconsin at ~$300.. at least to the point where nobody else would be able to get tickets

    what a waste of wood

I definitely don’t know.. the year chance played there was certainly thousands there pretty much just for him

I’m just now realizing you didn’t specifically mean EXC so ignore me

She might show up at EXC but she ain't gettin' billed. Especially with her own tour.

I am not mentally prepared for her touring/performing plans. I'm stressed just thinking about the possibilities because I know whatever she does I'm not going to be able to stop myself. I barely stopped myself from Lover Fest

  24. iCarly Rae Jepsen

    run away with me Platinum

I have no clue how she'll tour for 3 albums when she tends to play practically the whole album with a few select hits , also these aren't arena albums but if she did 8 nights at a smaller theater or whatever it would be impossible to get into

  25. I don't know if she had any plans to return to traditional touring any time soon anyway, even without a pandemic.
