If I had a say in the matter, my vote would probably be for them not to meet again between trilogies. You can totally massage things to fit another encounter, but I like it a lot better if there isn’t one.

But, like I was saying, Star Wars is already enough of a continuity mess that I personally cannot bring myself to care if yet another bit of canon gets more convoluted than needed. As long as it’s fun as its own thing, whatever.

  2. I wonder if ahsoka will appear in the obi wan show. Though rosario is too old for this time period

Considering Rebels is 14 years after ROTS, there could very well be some kind of Maul sequence too, but probably never them interacting.

I just saw that Filoni will be the person behind both Ashoka and Rangers, which makes me extremely happy.

  11. Both Filoni and Favreau are developing the two spinoff series. Sounds as if the shows will run in parallel to Mando and collide in the conclusion.

  12. I'm told I don't plug my Star Wars podcast enough, so maybe this group would be interested in listening to the episode where we discuss Duel of the Fates, Colin Trevorrow's rejected script for Episode IX. It's a fun one.

We also recorded an episode last night with Bobby Darling (Gatsbys, The Money Pit, American Fail, etc.) about all of the great Disney Investor Day announcements. That should be coming out in the next week or so. (subscribe here)

Forcecenter will always be my go to Star Wars podcast. Their approach is very positive and they do a good job of balancing reviews, news, deep analysis of themes, and silly fun.

Idiot’s Array (link) and Tarkin’s Top Shelf (link) are very nerdy and great for the Disney expanded-universe-minded.

Thank The Maker (link) is a little more accessible (and hosted by Warped alumni Ryan Key, Adam Russell, and Nick Ghanbarian).

The Incomparable podcast network has a feed that filters down to their Star Wars content and those are really great. Varied voices with very intelligent takes on storytelling. These are the only ones I listen to somewhat regularly.

I’m glad to hear that! We’re on our longest streak in quite a while. It’s great to find time for this again.

    Thanks so much!:pondathumb:

It's so ridiculous how giddy i still get at the start of any Star Wars movie. Just the music and the scroll, no matter what I start cheesin'. This week has sucked being sick but at least I've had these old movies like comfort food all week lol
