Yeesh, I know you wanna reward him for supporting you but if you're not gonna make him VA anything, just make him an important ambassador somewhere or something.

That being said, dude is obviously smart so I have no doubt he can figure out pretty quickly what a Transportation Secretary does, but still.

 

I’d like someone young but not work-for-hire minded thinking about it. Pete would be very friendly to the massive corporate interests and I don’t trust him to stand up for the people they employ.

Pete is only qualified to be the next Secretary of meddling in Iowa's Democratic primaries.

 

Based on the names I have seen thrown around for Biden’s transportation secretary it seems that he thinks “Running a city = knowledge of how to run and improve our transportation system”. Yeah sure that helps but I would like to see someone who actually has a background and experience in transportation. Something like someone who has lead a state DOT or just had a kind of transportation role in some capacity

This could have been a good “hey look at this person on the frontlines who doesn’t make enough from that job to get by” story, but instead they seriously have the gall to make it about whether it’s okay for her to post nudes lol jfc

I'd be okay if they reached out to the local tribes to see if any of them would like to be speicfically named ala the Seminoles. But otherwise, the Cleveland Cuyahoga seems like a no brainer, no? I guess most team nicknames aren't "crooked river" lol, but the alliteration of it works.
