I think the most surprising thing with this conservatorship stuff going on for me is that her sister jamie lynn seems implicated? I always perceived her as someone who has her back. Maybe from this moment

 

A lot of Britney stans are making Jamie Lynn out to be on the conservatorship's side but there's honestly no evidence to support that afaik. Britney and Jamie Lynn seem to be as close as they've always been, I think stans are frustrated Britney is still in a conservatorship and they're just looking for people to blame.

Watched it yesterday, really appreciated the explanation on the Free Britney movement. Also I didn't realize her parents are Jamie and Lynn and her sister is Jamie Lynn so whenever I'd hear people talking shit about Jamie I thought they meant Jamie Lynn. Also you could give me millions of dollars and I still couldn't have come up with something as goofy as the co-conservator being named Andrew Wallet

 

yeah it was confusing seeing someone being like I hate Jamie and me wondering what did Zoey 101 do haha

 

Yeah especially because IIRC at one point Jamie Lynn was petitioning to be conservator and then I'd see people saying Britney didn't want it to be Jamie because of a physical altercation with Britney's kids and spent longer than I should've trying to connect all the dots

Just watched the doc. Was mostly aware of what was going on, but this did add in some details about the case and a lot of background to her life in general that was needed for me. I was super young when she was becoming popular and when the JT relationship happened, so all I got back then was the 'Britney's crazy' takes. Good to get that all filled in.

Britney Spears Conservatorship Case Heads Back to Court

 

Haven't seen the documentary yet but those articles give really good insight on what the person at its helm intended to tell through it. Definitely seems like it was done with love and respect towards Britney and her privacy. Hopefully things can turn around in her favor further down the line.
