There are gross pics of Orton's cut on wwe.com. It's pretty deep and weirdly shaped and not like a self inflicted blading. I think they did the same thing where he bust open Cena on purpose too but I hate that stuff. Mixing legit wounds with a fake fight is stupid as fuck.

So we potentially lost three of the biggest draws in the company last night to injury?

 

Crowd was pretty awful for most of the night and Balor/Rollins was the worst crowd I have ever been apart of. AJ/Cena was the only time I was stoked to be in the atmosphere, and the match was great.

Brock/Orton was not fun at all. Three minutes in and it seemed like it was going to just be a Brock showcase match. It just became uncomfortable to watch by the end. That being said, Dean saying on the podcast that Brock is lazy probably helped the reaction Brock got because it was pretty mixed live. Seems like this will be the run where Brock finally loses.

Yeah, the elbow was definitely not meant to cut him, can see by the way Randy covers his face straight away. Just wonder if Brock went overboard after, or if he was told to keep going, but obviously not with anymore elbows.

 

Summerslam crowd was bad last year as well. Raws and nxts are when the real fans come out, apparently. I wish smackdown was here instead of friggin Connecticut.

I was listening to an old WWW podcast and former WWE writer Matt was making a joke about how when they ran SS weekend three days in a row at Barclays last year that, that Vince's philosophy would be like open Saturday night with a great show, get em mad/talking Sunday night, then send them home happy Monday night. Hope that's the case, and we get a good Raw tonight.

Yeah the more I think about it the more I realize the bad crowd last night really hurt a lot of the matches. Fatigue definitely played a part but if you want your Internet darlings of ambrose, Finn and even Becky to keep getting pushes you should be supporting them in during their big matches.

Brand split fucking sucks btw.
