Yeah I wouldn’t worry about quality being bad. For example, Big Thief’s second album last year was just as good as their first album, if not better.

    what a waste of wood

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just as good or even better.

If the songs weren’t at least on par with the songs on folklore, JV and The National crew wouldn’t be putting their name on it.

I can always be better, so I'll always try. Supporter

They're both getting praise on the indie outlet EOTY lists (especially Black Is...), but the group's seemingly intentional lack of self-promotion is definitely limiting what could be a huge moment in their careers.

I think their relative anonymity just adds to how fucking cool their music is

I already just know there's gonna be a whole group of people (on twitter not here) rushing to be the first to say this isn't as good as folklore after hearing the first 20 minutes

Champagne Problems is already a top 5 T Swift song. I feel the energy coming off that one already.

This site would have melted if we got a “feat. Phoebe Bridgers” this morning

  15. You think they’re going to give it 20 minutes??? No way. Someone will complain that the opening track isn’t as good as the entirety of folklore, making up their edgy mind about the entire thing within 20 seconds.

Taylor is a fan of Phoebe so it’s not that far off to anticipate a collab with the two of them.

Between the day Lover came out and tomorrow, we will have gotten three Taylor Swift albums in 476 days. Her previous three albums (Red, 1989, and Reputation) arrived in the space of 1,845 days.

Btw I have seen a lot of compelling fan theories that there may even be a 3rd album and if that happens I will dead

A third album would not surprise me. Make it a trilogy of sorts.

What’s insane is that this kind of output used to be the normal. The Beatles shit out a classic every 6 months For 6 years.

Honestly I can’t wait for the song with Haim. Two of mine and my partners favourites come together.
