I think it's a bit mixed, the first tweet about "cosplaying" while "real" ones try to survive is just not fair to Taylor at all. The second tweet, which addresses the system at large and she even backpedals saying she has nothing against Taylor, is actually a fair point albeit wrapped up in a punishing of an artist wanting to do her thing

 

The frustration and systemic problem is legit, but the critique gets invalidated by the artist's own projected bullshit and internalized misogyny

 

Artists should be going after the government for providing shit in assistance to struggling artists, not another artist who has no control over the pandemic and getting artists the funding they desperately need.

I just... I am an indie artist (by reality, not by aesthetic) who I promise makes a lot less and is in a much worse position to make new songs rn than the verified indie accounts that drop those hot takes and I in no way hold Taylor Swift (or any other artist) responsible for that. These takes are deeply boring.
