It’s 6am and I’m bouncing off the fucking walls at this news

 

If Matt’s on the National track (I’m assuming he is), their two voices are going to be PERFECT together.

 

Never would I have thought we would have gotten one album this year let alone 2 with a total of 34 songs between the 2 and her performing folklore in full with the people she made it with. She’s the queen of 2020

 

I like how she’s basically going “guys, you don’t get it... this is my actual hobby. it’s not a marketing thing, I really do like to write songs.”

I bet she did the same for this and performed it in full and that comes out early next year on Disney plus

 

I would have guessed that folklore will either be number 1 or 2 on our eventual list...wondering how this will shake that up!

 

I just woke up from a dream that I bought Folklore on vinyl, lol. This is awesome news. Folklore is my AOTY.

I love how literally hundreds of thousands of people who really, really care about this are getting the same shock of joyful adrenaline. Today’s going to be a great day.

 

I tend to do this when artists release 2 albums in the same year (mewithoutYou [untitled] and [Untitled]) so these two combined will probably be number 2 aoty now.

EDIT: I see we're talking about the site AOTY lists, I'm talking about my personal list, point still stands.

 

So blown away by this. Wasn’t sure what I was reading at first when I saw it this morning. Cousin texted me, was disorientating.

 

I really hope this is a full endeavor and not folklore b sides. Would be pretty stoked as I like this direction for her. National. Bon Iver. Haim.

I don’t know, I guess it depends on how similar they are? We’ve done that in the past for some two-in-one-year releases (the last Stapleton comes to mind), but not always (the first 20/20 Experience made our list but the second didn’t).
