FYI: the Four Seasons landscaping people are (as far as I know from people who know them) Trump supporters who have pivoted to grifting libs. They’ve gotten over 1mil in sales since the debacle. It’s still funny, but if you’re gonna buy merch or whatever consider buying from an outside source

idk if that was brought up in here or not

Yeah, I kind of suspected this and didn’t jump on the merch stuff. The fact that the campaign didn’t make a mistake and actually wanted to speak there and the way the company kept saying they aren’t making any political statements raised some flags.

They should hopefully forget about it by the end of this year, lol. Or at least stop buying shit from them

The way to go. There’s people taking trips there on a regular basis to get pictures or autographs or to leave gifts lol. People take shit too far. It was, and still is, hilarious, but people idolizing or supporting them are just itching to get milkshake duck’d

To be clear there might be some really cool/progressive people that work there so I don’t mean to shit on them 100%, just pointing out that maybe people should think or research before they give em money

Frankly, good for them to capitalize off this hilarious event so they have enough money to keep their business running through the pandemic. Hopefully their employees get a nice pay raise from it.

Same, and I got the soft tee and it's very comfy. I was surprised how well it came out considering it's just sold from one of those random t shirt generator sites lol

Hey, get them to cut your lawn or whatever to keep small business afloat and to help people stay employed. I’m just saying I’ve seen one of the higher ups at the company’s ig story from that day and it’s...pretty clearly ignorant racist pro trump shit. Maybe don’t buy their grifter merch

I wonder how many random hamlets and one stoplight towns there are out there where COVID just isn't much of a problem because no one visits that town and the townsfolk rarely go anywhere. IT's tough in today's more connected world for that to be possible but I'm sure there's a few of them. I was looking at my moms hometown in Chester County and how the county seems to be blowing up and yet the town only has a few hundred cases. It's a legit town too, like 20K people, but other than a burgoning microbrewery thing it's not really a place outsiders would just go to. So that may be keeping the spread from getting too crazy there.

Makes me wonder how many towns out there that are like a few hundred people and life is relatively normal and etc.

Yeah @MysteryKnight I know you didn’t mean to be optimistic that a Trump supporting company would allow money to trickle down to their employees

I hadn't seen anything myself that shows they are Trump supporters. I'll take your word for though.

I didn't buy any merch from them and have no plans to. Was just saying maybe there is some good to this other than basically saying fuck that company they don't deserve anything.

That’s strange, I don’t get that. My small home county has had a few hundred cases in the last few weeks, and the local hospital is already at capacity (which is like 10 beds). They had only like 30 cases just a few months ago. Nearby rural Ohio communities to where I live now are getting rapid spread. I thought one of the main issues was this is now hitting less populated places.

Oh yeah I didn't mean to make it sound like it was a common thing happening in America, just was wondering if there are a few tiny places out there like that where they've just been able to avoid the problem all together because no one leaves the town very much and people don't go there very much either. There's gotta be a handful of places out there, few and far between as they may be. Basically I'm just day dreaming of a better life right now lmao

But it's also hard to tell if it's legit low cases or if the people there just aren't getting tested for one reason or another but there's a lot of asymptomatic people/people who just have mild symptons. I just looked where my wife's family likes to vacation in New Hampshire every summer and it's a township of 3,900 people and according to NH's dashboard hteyv'e had 25 cases there total since last March. But....it's NH and god knows how many people there are simply just not getting tested lol
