Tulsi has such a weird and specific way of being the worst. She pulls people who don’t know any better in by doing cool things like pointing out that Kamala Harris or Neera Tanden are trash, and then turns around and vocally praises Trump lol

Yeah we're a family of two and still tend to run it 2-3 times a week lol.

We read it's actually more efficient on water supply to run a newer dishwasher than to handwash it all with the sink constantly on

Well it used to be more spaced out but with everyone home all day everyday we run ours almost everyday. And it’s full!

Yeah definitely same here working from home full time! I used to eat lunch in the cafeteria at work and free coffee there, so we've never gone through as many mugs/plates/utensils in a week as we do now

Ted Cruz as president would be just as bad, if not worse, than Trump as president.

If they don't listen to Biden now will they really listen to him as President?

Also 100 days is really not enough time. Hopefully by then, lots of people will have gotten the vaccine. But a lot of people still won't. And mask wearing will be important in ensuring stuff can return back to normal as fast as possible. Saying 100 days is asking for trouble come summer.

Unfortunately even the CDC wasn’t recommending everyone wear a mask back in March: Should We All Be Wearing Masks In Public? Health Experts Revisit The Question

I remember some Chinese friends of mine giving us masks and showing me Chinese health recommendations that everyone wear a mask. I’m still pissed that the CDC was so stupid about it at a time when Fauci still had a strong voice at those briefings and we really could have slowed this thing.

And Tuesday, President Trump weighed in suggesting people may want to wear scarves. "I would say do it," he said, noting that masks are needed for health care workers. "You can use scarves, you can use something else," he said.

    Oh, how far we've come..

I think it's because our dumbass country made ppe and masks a public sector issue and we didn't have enough masks for people to wear and by the time there were enough it was months later

Yeah, the guidance on not wearing masks early on was definitely mainly cause we had a mask shortage and needed them for the healthcare workers. Also had to do with the fact that it was believed masks were only effective if you had the virus (it is still true that it so more for the protection of others, but I think research has shown it could also protect you to an extent too) and considering we had no idea about the high amount of asymptomatic carriers...

We weren’t the first to deal with outbreaks, experts from other countries were recommending widespread mask wearing because of asymptomatic carriers while the cdc was not. Maybe it was because of a shortage, and maybe they didn’t know cloth could be effective, but when they switched positions it was enough for the idiots to claim the cdc recommended those without symptoms to not wear masks and to post that recommendation all over Facebook and other idiots latched onto distrusting the experts. It would have been better to just say we need the masks for healthcare workers. It was the specific recommendation to not wear a mask if you don’t have symptoms that was stupid as hell.

Jake Tapper asked Harris and Biden to name a progressive currently in his cabinet and Biden said the department of homeland security. Harris didn't answer and just said "we're not done yet" in regards to cabinet picks.

And then Biden also said that maybe progressives are expecting him to pick a big name person in the house or senate, but it's a tough decision to make if you take someone away from congress that might not be replaced by a democrat.
