Sometimes it's fascinating how utterly devoid of reality and common sense these MAGA shitheads can be, so it can be hard to look away occasionally

Went back to teaching in-person this week. It's so depressing, and everyone is completely miserable.

Found out through the grapevine that we had three new cases in our one-hallway school today and a suspected case of student-to-teacher. The teacher got sick yesterday, and the parent apparently emailed her last night to tell her that he had tested positive on Saturday and was wondering if he should keep sending his kids to school, who had attended the past two days. Seems bad.

Our superintendent is sitting on all the information and announcing it to us and the community after school starts tomorrow. She's also announcing at that point that we are going completely virtual starting Monday until January. So it's safe enough to attend the next two days, but not safe starting on Monday?

Madness.
