The only time I want to hear Obama’s remarks on drone strikes would be by testimony in some kind of hearing to account for the many hundreds of innocent people murdered by them.

I saw people argue that all prison inmates in general should be provided a vegan option, I didn't see anyone specifically defend Ghislaine

Yeah I get that, I just didn't see someone defending her either. Seemed more like a misunderstanding of what was being argued from one another when people really agreed with eachother all along

 

I think they should let Ghislaine Maxwell find out first hand if the moon is made out of (vegan) cheese

This argument in general is dumb and seems similar to the arguments when Bernie said all prisoners should have the right to vote. Obviously, murderers and rapists and such aren’t ones to defend by any means but they are still humans. If you take away something from one person because they did something that’s a slippery slope to keep chipping away at taking it from others.

Prisoners no matter what they did are humans and don’t deserve inhumane treatment. Vegan meals is certainly not on the same scale as something like voting, but still, if you say one person shouldn’t have access to something as simple as that, where does the restriction end?

Is this bribes for pardons thing a big deal? I honestly have no idea anymore (probably to keep my sanity).

 

For what it's worth, when the average person hears "Defund the police" they think "no police ever, criminals can do whatever they want, murder is legal blah blah." They're not hearing "divert that funding into social programs that help prevent crime in the first place" etc

I like abolish the police better. Or all cops are bastards, I like that one. Combine the two and you can set up a pretty good conversation on why police are bad and how we can set up a better system to enforce laws.

 

My guess is like most crimes of this admin it will be out of the news cycle by next week

 

Who's fault is that? Maybe if Democrats took the energy from their base and crafted actual messaging about policy instead of running and hiding from Republican attacks people would understand these ideas better instead of being mindlessly scared of them
