The Mountain Time record is seriously so unbelievably good. I love it a lot.

listening to aurora again and man its such a special song. not a lot of emo comebacks nailed it like minerals did. feels like exactly where this band would be in 2019. captures their magic but isn't just a retread. anyway, its December so y'all know its mineral season

 

wish we had more than two songs but man such amazing songs!

 

Yeah I was expecting them to make a new album when that first song dropped. Never checked out the other one. Need to tho

“Aurora” live was an experience. Really, really glad I got to see them on that tour.

What’s cool about them imo is they each draw as much from the post mineral bands as they do from minerals actual run. Aurora is definitely cut from the same cloth as the self titled gloria record ep, basically mineral with a bit more of a post rock edge, and your body is really similar to imbroco in its sorta mineral meets 90s alt rock vibe
