Obviously prisons in an ideal world should offer vegan meal options, but the conversation was specifically about a PETA post where they were calling for Ghislaine Maxwell specifically to be given vegan meals. Like sorry cluckeroo but I don't give a shit about her or her comfort.

 

to be fair, the letter clearly uses Ghislaine as a jumping off point and says basically "We've read reports that Maxwell is being denied a vegan meal, which seems to suggest that you don't offer that as an option at all. Therefore we are offering to work with you in providing it."

 

and who appointed you judge jury and executioner over which prisoners get rights and which ones don't?

what if someone else disagrees with your selection and wants to decide that some other prisoners don't get rights?
