Jingle All the Way's my favourite, but I'm generally content watching any Christmas film. Elf is a big exception, though—always found that movie enormously grating.

I loved Elf as a kid but I watched it last year and felt like it didn’t hold up

also how is Zooey Deschanel the love interest of Will Ferrell

 

This is the first time I've put together that Russ is that one guy from Big Bang Theory

 

Elf is fine but I feel like too many people make it seem like it's the funniest movie ever and it most certainly is not

 

Tim Allen is another one that is terrible, and I hate that I love the Santa Clause movies and Christmas with the Kranks.

 

2000s comedies were built on the question of “How is (female star) the love of interest of (schlubby male star)?”

Kind of funny story, the first night we brought one of my dogs home, he was crying in his bed, we thought it was too quiet for him, so we turned on the TV and Christmas with the Cranks was on and he fell right asleep. We put it on the next night after he started crying again and he watched the whole movie lol. Now he's obsessed with watching TV

 

Ernest Saves Christmas, Batman Returns, I'll Be Home For Christmas, Jingle All The Way, and Edward Scissorhands for me.

 

Fubar 2 is kind of a christmas movie

 

I created a fake Parler account just to keep an eye on some co-workers who were falling down the rabbit hole. Most of them who proudly proclaimed they were going there set up an account, posted one thing and haven’t gone back since. They still post regularly on Facebook about triggering the Libs. Take as old as time.

 

I think elf and die hard are both vastly overrated. I will not be reading the replies, I have logged off thank you

 

Elf is fine but people are obsessed with it.

 

I like Elf, and not just because of Blonde Zoey Deschanel. Although that definitely tips in its favor.

 

Love Actually is a bit of a Christmas staple for us.

 

Yeah Elf is almost definitely a big reason for my Zoey Deschanel crush. Then I saw 500 Days of Summer and that was it for me.


As long as we’re talking about “how is ______ zoey deschanel’s love interest?”, I think Elf isn’t nearly as weird as Yes Man lol. The age difference is more obvious there I think because Carey’s face is starting to show its age a little bit in that movie.
