Why are you being rude?! I bought these yesterday and they're the first Star Wars related things I've ever owned! I've never read a SW book before.

 

How in the actual hell am I supposed to get all that from a photo of two random Star Wars books? I recommend using words next time.


Edit: while that trilogy is great, I recommend actually reading the canon books first.

Anyway, that trilogy is the best of the old star wars material in my opinion. Just remember, it's no longer canon and doesn't actually happen.

Um, I can read these posts, so being indirect at me isn't going to make me want to be less "hostile", thanks. It does come across as rude to just say "okay?" at any post, just seems dismissive. If you wanted to ask something, just do so. But saying "okay?" isn't really inviting a conversation.

Since it hasn't really be commented on here, what do people think about the latest Solo movie potential casting call rumor? That its for a non white female lead?

Many suspect it to be the woman from the Solo comic series. I don't want to get into details to avoid spoilers, although not major. But assuming it's that character, how do we fee about that?

I personally have only kept up on the comics through others who read them. But from what I know it could add an interesting dynamic as well as again tie in another media form into the movies.

"Flip out"? Your single word was rude and needlessly challenging. Then you doubled down on the rudeness, mocking a perfectly fine post and being condescending. None of it was cool. I'm not sure why you consistently came from a place of confrontation in all those interactions. I don't want to draw out any conflict, but none of what you said was cool. All the hostility in here is coming from you.

 

I think it would be cool if the character they're casting for turns out to be Sana, just from a reassurance perspective that the books, comics, cartoons do affect the movies. I was a bigger fan of her when they got her away from Han because she was much less one note, but given my main issue was her constantly harping on allegedly being his wife, that wouldn't be a problem in this movie due to it being a prequel. Even if it's not her, I appreciate all the new movies making a point of being much more diverse than the OT, so either way I'm excited to see this character whoever she may be. (Sorry if I spoiled it for anyone, but that reveal is over a year old and was very widely discussed/known when it came out)

 

So they focus on her apart from Solo as well? Interesting. As I said before, I haven't read them. I just haven't found the time/money to spend on something as frequent as comics, personally

They keep her around for the next arc (Rebel Jail) where she worked with Leia and Aphra (from the Vader comic) and she was great.

The irony here being that you got upset over a single image of a couple books so much that you blocked (or threatened to block) the person.

 

Sounds cool. I have read a few of them when I had Marvel Unlimited. But I just didn't use it enough to justify the monthly payment.

One day I will probably do another month and read through all that's on there at the time. But the fact that's it's like 6 months behind got old. I understand why they have it set up that way. But I am at best a very casual comic guy. It's just not set up for my tastes.

 

Will Claudia Gray be working on any other books? Loved Lost Stars and Bloodline. Would love to see more from her. Her site had no indication, but I also have yet to check any of the news sites.
