Wood should be able to learn a lot from Cousins. Regardless how he shakes out.

 

I guess the biggest problem with the Bucks is definitely Bud.

 

the bench is markedly better and the starters have another option for creating their own buckets lol

i'd take zach lowe's opinion/stance over that of dunc'd on podcast lmao

 

lowe still thinks their rotation is kinda fucked outside the top 3 but we'll see.

 

i think that was a bit unfair to brook, which he kind of said afterwards himself, but it's fair enough.

the team is, on paper and off, kind of indisputably better than last year and the year before. whether or not it's good enough to make the finals remains to be seen (and i doubt this is the roster we have by the playoffs). but to act like the team isn't better now than it was last season, or that the moves made were bad moves, is pretty dumb.

 

Yeah, I don't see how getting Jrue made the Bucks worse lol. Jrue is a really good player.

 

Regarding the Bucks...

Jrue over Bledsoe is a really nice upgrade. You have a more reliable 3rd option now.

Their bench I guess isn’t as nice as previous years but having those 3 guys you can stagger more and have 2/3 on the court at all times unless Bud really sticks to the weird not playing your starters lots of minutes

 

You'd think Bud would learn after two years of doing the same thing and failing, but who knows?

 

- What did they give up that was valuable in the Holiday trade? An unprotected 2027 first?
- they didn’t botch anything - Bogdan was initially gonna take a pay cut and then Atlanta gave him a bag
- this year’s bench is so much better than last year’s bench
- Giannis is going to sign the super max

George Hill was pretty freaking good for the Bucks. I think Wes also was good there too but being able to stagger Jrue, Khris, and Giannis is a much better situation so it doesn’t really matter.

 

Well Wes was a starter and yeah Hill was good last year but he’s a prime candidate for regression (he started regressing in the bubble)

 

Still two pretty good players but as I’ve stated having Jrue is better

 

Right I agree but I also think Augustin is better than Hill too

 

I have no basis for these feelings but i am very excited about this kid
