I'm stopping watching now when Tom just said wanting to make the world better with To The Stars. Best parts were about him talking about BCR, Enema, and Neighborhoods stuff

"I don't like asking permission to make art" - Tom Delonge

    (Except when it's blink 182)

Yup, must finished it too and I still can't help but love the guy. I'm certainly not on the same wavelength as him anymore art-wise but I really admire that he's following his passions and seems the happiest he's ever been.

loved it. he's a great storyteller. also love how much "Ghost on the Dance Floor" was highlighted. can't help but wish him the best and hope he long continues to love his work the way he seems to love it today.

Yeah that was a pretty interesting watch, even if my opinion of him and his work has soured in recent years it was interesting and cool to watch some of these parts.

Honestly I guess I was hoping for something different with the documentary. He just seemed so egotistical and delusional as always. When he says something like "I was always jelous of how mark was ok with what the band was doing" cause Tom felt it needed to be more progressive. That was just so shitty. And it seems like he thinks that it was all him that made blink huge while mark was just as important as him the entire time.

    Sleekest of beaks. So Good.

I might if I ever get bored and have nothing else to really do but I won't purposely seek it out as a must watch.

  12. I'm definitely interested in the Tom documentary, he may have a big ego but I still think he's more interesting than Mark.

    Things have changed.

Restlessness is a blessing and a curse. It's very Lennon-esque and nomadic. It takes a lot of work to continually be changing and evolving, and it can be tiring. There's nothing wrong with being content, as he thought Mark was.

His comment didn't both me at all. Not everything is a dig at people. Blink has always been enough for Mark, and that's great. You can tell how much he loves it.

  16. I really enjoyed it up until he started talking about To The Stars and so forth. Then his ego really started popping through.

I watched up til the Angels and Airwaves stuff. Everything before that was great.

"Art project..blah blah..ethos..music that's mature and flies and soars...well I'll play the same way that I always have and just add a delay pedal"

    Ugh.

God he loves the word ethos. He learned it in 2002 and had used it in every interview since.

I really enjoyed the documentary thought it was a fascinating look from start to present of Toms life and kind of made me feel bad for the guy regarding some of the media perception of him recently.

I can hold my hand up myself of being like wtf with some of his choices recently but seems he's happy with To The Stars and they seem to be doing some interesting things.

Have you seen the forums on To The Stars though? So dead!

I enjoyed the doc, although all the AVA and To The Stars stuff bored me a bit. I'm happy he's happy doing it but it just doesn't interest me.
