I thought that was okay once the weirdo intro ended.

Honestly think I prefer it by a long way to anything on the last Green Day album.

 

I love Money Money 2020 and I love what I've heard of this new stuff so far.

 

Yeah the first thing I thought of when that chorus hit was The Ramones. The lyrics could have been better, but The Network never have had super great lyrics

 

I'm not quite sure what more people might have been expecting out of a new wave song called "Ivankkka is a Nazi" that they're not getting from the song itself

Then again I really like the synth riff and the chorus so maybe I'm biased

 

EP out on streaming tomorrow!

 

It was okay, definitely nice to have something just a little different. Flat Earth was pretty funny

 

Already better than practically all of Father Of All...

 

Gonna wait for the full album to come out (December 4!) but I really like every snippet I've heard

 

I've gone back and listened to Money Money 2020 a lot since I last posted about it and my mind has changed significantly. I still definitely prefer the Billie/Fink songs but I enjoy that entire album a lot.

The new ep is really good, too. I should hold myself back on listening to it more, given that the songs will almost certainly be on the full album. This whole thing is just a lot of fun.

 

Honestly it feels like Green Day phoned it in on Father of All to focus on new Network music

Enjoyable at points, and good to hear them try something new, but I doubt I will ever go back to it.

I would rate that EP at like a 5/10.

Tbf that is about 6 points higher than I would rate FOAMF, so that’s a pretty big improvement really.

Judging by the EP I also feel like I'll enjoy Money Money 2020 Part II much more than FOAM.

I like FOAM. I think it is a good album, actually. Those indirect but direct replies to everybody posting here are kind of annoying and add literally nothing to the discussion though. It is ok, other people are allowed to dislike the album. We are allowed to like it. It is just music. Music is subjective. Opinions are subjective. Let the people that dislike it make comments about it without you feeling the constant need to reply to each and everyone of them, please.
