Demon's Souls is an all time great launch title. It's a god damn incredible experience playing a game this beautiful visually on a next gen console in 4k. I've been in awe for the entire 12-15 hours I've been playing.

 

Yeah this is what I’m excited for. Only played Bloodborne and Sekiro. Will never finish the last boss on the latter.

 

Jumping into Doom Ancient Gods after completely forgetting the controls is exhilarating.

 

Just posting to commiserate about the daily shuffle of checking Wario64's Twitter for the latest and greatest details on a PS5 drop.

(I had one in my basket from Amazon last week! SO CLOSE.)

And really, I just want it for Miles Morales right now...

 

Started Ghost of Tsushima the other day. So far I'm not IN LOVE with it yet but I'm enjoying it more and more. Combat is really fun and the graphics are beautiful. Not that it's that important but does the story get more engaging?

 

Demons Souls is the only Souls game I never finished so I'm looking forward to playing through the remake.

 

Nothing about the game is necessarily groundbreaking by any means, story included, but you get more than enough in that department to feel satisfied. The game nails it when it counts.

 

Beat Nioh 2 a few weeks ago, and now I’m wrapping up Control. Want to Start GoT, but might not just incase I somehow miraculously get a PS5 soon.

 

GoT is fantastic

 

Days Gone is not fantastic though

 

I saw some footage of it running on the 5, and it looked way more fluid/fun.

 

I really enjoyed Days Gone for what it was.

 

It’s a weird game. Like a solid open world game but with the where theme of a mid 00’s game about bikers and zombies. The whole story feels like something I would’ve played on the PS2 if that makes sense.

It was kinda like a mix of Sons of Anarchy with the Walking Dead. The story was interesting, but mostly generic. I can see why it let down a lot, but it was fun to play. The world was more developed than I expected and the hoards were more than challenging. It was about ten years too late to hit that Biker/Zombie craze.

 

The Series S is fantastic, I've been really enjoying it.

 

also it's the cutest console since the gamecube.

 

My PS5 is a fucking eyesore, but Sony has so many good exclusives. But my Xbox has become my main device just on the back of it being so much nicer looking and honestly it feels a bit quicker.

 

honestly the S has sparked so much good will in me I almost regret not going Xbox this gen.

 

It sound go from biker bro plot to poor man’s Walking Dead/The Last of Us. I dug the little details in the game though, like having to find gas for your bike or what not.

 

Regret the PS5 purchase, but I play a ton of The Show and am still nervous 21 isn't going to be available for Xbox.

 

I already have a laundry list of games I want to play on PS5, also stuff I missed on PS4 for reasons, so no I don't think I'll regret it, but this fucking Xbox, man. I don't want to plaster pictures of my living room all over the internet again but it is SO SLEEK.

 

What’s everyone using to charge their series x/s controller? The Microsoft play and charge kit for the new controllers seems to be unavailable on Amazon. The only other one I can really find is a PowerA charging station that seems to be pretty prevalent. My only other options are a) charging the battery in my Xbox one controller with the old play and charge kit or b) using regular double A batteries.

 

I'm using double A batteries. It's held up well.

 

Whenever I wind up making the jump to next-gen, I'm sure it'll be the same deal as this last one: PS5 only for exclusives and Xbox for literally everything else
