After Nikes which I immensely dislike this gets really great

 

Loooooved this album on first listen. Someone else used the word passionate, that's exactly it. I can feel how hard this was worked on and it really shows.

 

Pls stop dissing TPAB, white people!

 

I can see myself returning to maybe 6 or 7 songs on here

 

I don't see the point in even bringing TPAB up in here apart from hot takes.

 

I haven't listened to this yet but I doubt that there's a need for comparison aside from weak hyperbole and then people tearing either album down

 

Came here to post basically this. Got that same feeling when I hit Pink + White that I got the first time I listened to TPAB in full driving up to school.

 

Second run through, Ivy is lovely

 

I'd compare it more to "A Moon Shaped Pool" - way more more about a vibe than about big hooks or anything.

 

Someone said it reminded them of the first time they heard TPAB and I said no.

 

For an odd but apt comparison, Freetown Sound strikes similar chords as TPAB for me

 

This is extremely interesting and unique
