so far so re-skinned odyssey with one of the best intro sequences I’ve seen in a video game. Audibly gasped multiple times.

 

Demon’s Souls is the only launch game across both consoles that you can only play on new hardware. Having said that, I can’t see how playing MM, Sackboy, Pathless, Bugsnax, etc. on the PS5 isn’t a huge draw for the console. Not to mention the huge improvements that waves and waves of BC titles are getting. Haven’t gotten around to Ghost of Tsushima multiplayer because J sold me PS4 before it came out, but I can’t wait to give it a shot on my PS5.

The PS5 launch lineup is one of the best launch lineups in generations, maybe ever. In addition to all the multiplatform stuff it has four quality first-party exclusives plus Godfall which is exclusive for 6 months. Compare that to the PS4 launch lineup, which was pitiful.

 

No way is the PS5 launch line up near the best. That’s so beyond ridiculous it almost comes off as sarcasm.

I mean besides the Switch, I would very easily slot in the PS5 as second or third best launch lineup.

 

GameCube and Wii both had great line ups. Luigi’s Mansion and Rogue Squadron 2. Wii Sports and Twilight Princess.

 

I don’t buy much from amazon, but my Xbox will get here today before 9am. I’m still used to them using UPS and getting here by late evening.

I remember my PS4 coming at like 8:15pm on launch day.

Yep and Godfall for a limited time. MM could count as a PlayStation exclusive but it’s only 8-10 hours. Basically glorified DLC or an expansion, whichever term people want to pick.

I mean going by that then, the Wii launch wasn't exclusive either considering Twilight Princess was on Gamecube too

Sure, these games will be on PS4 too, but they're going to be heavily optimized and improved on PS5
