And the reason AOC has spoken out is because since the election was called Democrats have blamed her and other progressive Democrats for allegedly nearly costing them the election. The progressive Democrats campaign insanely well and for this election got behind Biden after their preferred candidates lost in the primary. For the centrists to cosy up to Republicans post-Trump in the name of unity and give the progressives shit in the same breath is so transparent and gross.

I think the problem with that “we need to come together because we agree on most things!” argument is that i truly believe an ex-CIA spook like Spanberger and a former drug war prosecutor like Lamb would rather share power with the John Kasichs of the world than AOC, while i think people like John Kasich should feel unsafe trying to live a public life.
