What's funny is a lot of the predictions about what Trump presidency would bring in 2016 came true, but these fools are all saying the most outlandish things about what a Biden presidency will bring and it won't get near the same attention. Reeducation camps! Chinese takeover! Socialism!

Not gonna lie, reeducation camps might not be the worst idea considering how brainwashed some of these QAnon people are

feeling pretty damn apocalyptic about the future right now, really. Even Hilary offered 55, fuck.

it’s not that we’d have been better under Trump or some other nonsense. I’m really terrified that austerity and status quo-preserving bullshit is going to lead us right to fascism. And i already see so many people getting off the train to “go back to normal”.

Nonsense. Everyone knows that if we listened to those far-left radicals and lowered the medicare age to 50, Hitler reincarnated will come and take over the US. This country is not prepared for that level of socialism. I mean really, giving middle age people near retirement health care? Ruining our beautiful freedom to get sick and die without the government interfering. SMH.

(This is very much sarcasm, in case I needed to make it clear)

All the infighting isn’t going to help anyone win. Dems bicker. Republicans fall in line. We just need one concise message and fucking stick with it. A message without ambiguity. A message where everything is on the surface and you don’t have to sit down and explain things to people. We need to concede on guns. We need to drop the “holier than thou” persona. Dems need to take a bottom up approach. Like, it might not be the best idea to send AOC into a more conservative district just as you wouldn’t want to send in Pelosi to stump in a progressive one. Dems need to all agree that they need their platforms to focus on their constituents, and the specifics need to play to that. I do think it’s true that “socialism” and “defund police” did hurt Dems in some districts. I also think moderates hurt progressives in places too. It’s pretty much all bullshit. They need to hash out their differences behind closed doors and not in think pieces or while being interviewed on the news. Come out with a general consensus and don’t fuck it up for each other.

Maybe I’m playing too much of a middle ground line, but AOC isn’t helping just as much as Clyburn isn’t helping. We all agree on way more than we disagree with and blaming each other is just petty and makes Dems look weak. Republicans have engrained this stereotype of Democrats and we’re not doing anything to help ourselves.
