Yeah the ship sections weren't great and also there was no gladiator arena planet, which was a sad omission. Other than that though it was 100% classic R&C goodness.

 

this is my first r&c game haha so idk what the gladiator arena planet is. One more thing regarding the ship section, I’m still confused on why they inverted the controls lmao that was so jarring and I’m glad I could turn it off

 

flight controls inverted is sort of tradition haha

 

In most other R&C games there would be a planet where you'd go and the only thing to do there was fight in like gladiator battles to win weapon upgrades and other key items. They even made Ratchet: Deadlocked on PS2, which was like an entire game that was just gladiator fights on different planets (and was pretty fun). It was just always a fun part of those games and it was a bit disappointing to not get one in that game. I'm really hoping they put one in Rift Apart.

 

We need a new Spyro game. There hasn’t been a new title since 2008.

 

Not counting the Reignited Trilogy there hasn't been a Spyro game since Year of the Dragon in 2000.

 

There was the legend of Spyro trilogy on the GameCube, PS2 and Xbox between 2006-2008. They weren’t that good though

 

Some of those Toys 2 Life games that were sort of Spyro games were apparently actually pretty fun

No there were no Spyro games at all between 2000 and the Reignited Trilogy.

As expected amazon changing my delivery date of the series x from tomorrow til Thursday. I'm sure it will be pushed a few more times.

This storage situation is straight up embarrassing. The Series X isn't much better but at least Series X lets you quickly move games between the SSD and external storage.
