Fireworks and The Wonder Years are so buddy buddy they once tag-teamed a set, I'll take Soupy's word on this one lol.

 

I believe in Soupy. I am so ready to hear this album.

 

Good news if true but also they’re rapidly running out of time and I always get nervous when bands drop new albums deep in December as they tend to be forgotten/overlooked in all the chatter about aoty lists and the holiday season. Maybe the situation will be a bit different in 2020 though who knows, it’s been a strange year.

 

I feel the same way about albums released in January and February, but I’m fairly confident that this will shoot you to my top 10 pretty quickly.

 

Sorry to bump this thread but it’s the weekend before Halloween

 

Really hoping we hear something more concrete about this album soon. "Demitasse" is still one of my favorite songs of the year.

 

I wonder what the odds are that they just drop the record without preorders or anything. That seems like the only way to still get the record out this year. I can't imagine this dropping between Thanksgiving and New Years.

 

Every time there's a notification on this thread I'm so excited for the prospect of some kind of news. This is my most anticipated release.

adam did a q/a on instagram the other day and said they would only release the album if trump lost the election soooooooo

 

Monday surprise drop let's go!

 

Everyday I wait for some news on this.

 

He later said in the q/a that it wasnt done....Chris told me like a year ago that it WAS done....idk man

 

So, to sum up -- the album's done and it also isn't and it's going to maybe come out this year or not.

 

If you told me a Seahaven album would release before this Fireworks album at the start of the year I'd have laughed you out the room.

Still my most anticipated album but some more news wouldn't go amiss.

 

my guess is that it isn't done because that post was more recent, I listened to the soupy interview w hoppus and he never said that he had heard it, only that he thought it would come this year.

 

The biggest disappointment of 2020 was not getting this album.

 

And the second was getting this ping and realizing it wasn’t news

Sorry that I bumped this without it being anything new. I was listening to them and got reminded about this album not coming out.

 

Teddy posted about being in the studio too, so, maybe?
