should i replace my 12 with the 12 Pro Max? I got used to the wider screen using the 8Plus for the last few years. Althought 12's screen is longer in height, I prefer the wideness due to watching videos a lot on it.

 

anyone having issues or hearing issues with magsafe? i finally got the puck and the 20w usb-c brick in and it's not charging my phone. it's showing that it's charging up it's staying at the same % after 30 minutes on the puck.

 

It takes a while, mine wasn't moving after a while but it charges now. Its slow in general though. Thankfully the phone has good battery life.

Love Apple but a $200 price tag for the MagSafe Duo charger in Australia is straight up taking the piss

 

Especially since belkin or another third party will make a less expensive but equivalent one

 

Haven’t read this thread in a long time so I don’t know if this has been addressed but I got my MagSafe Wallet yesterday. I saw reviews saying it’s not great, the wallet slides off to easily, etc. I can’t make it slide off when putting it in my pocket even if I try to. My only complaint is that the cards are too hard to remove. Also, it feels like it could’ve been a little bit longer and had two card slots.

Those leather cases look super cool but I couldnt imagine dropping $60 on one and not feeling ripped off

 

Just curious, what was going on with them? My husband has had his since they came out and they do this weird buzzing thing. He's trying to get them swapped.

 

Essentially if I had on transparency mode or noise cancellation, there was no bass and audio sounded extremely flat. But I think others also reported crackling or weird noises sometimes. They can probably test his and swap at a store also.

At this point I’m glad I didn’t go for the Pro Max over the normal Pro just for the camera. Seems MKBHD was disappointed that there wasn’t a noticeable difference.

The rad thing about the battery life concerns for me is I'm jumping from an 8 so i won't notice and it'll still feel like significant gains.

 

I find the battery life concerns kind of strange. I guess if you live on your phone (but you aren't the person buying this anyways), but like I just need it to get me comfortably through 2-3 hours of actual use each day. Everything else looks like a homerun with the Mini. Stoked for Friday.

 

Looks like in the next few months I'm gonna be getting new iPhones, airpods of some kind, and a new MacBook air.

 

Anything under 6 hours of SOT would be unacceptable for me in 2020

 

My phone was on the truck for delivery last night so it should be here within in the hour. I love that UPS around here is consistent with their delivery times.

 

Did you get the mini or the max? Or was your order from the first wave of pre-orders? Now I'm frantically checking my shipping haha
