I enjoy watching our kids/B team in the Europa League, it's fun to see players like Joe Willock getting minutes and improving.

  4. Danny Rose playing with the U23 team today lol

  5. Man City beating Liverpool, Wolves beating Leicester, Spurs beating West Brom

All of these things seem realistic. And would put Spurs on top heading into the break.

West Brom beating Spurs also seems realistic.

Someone on Reddit posted about footballers birthdays and I found this article in the replies. It's truly fascinating, and looks at how being born late in your academic year makes it extremely unlikely for you to excel at sport, even if you have outstanding talent.

As someone born in August myself, I get why. I was essentially a year behind in development from the oldest kids in my class and so I was the smallest.

The case study they use is a Welsh international footballer who came from the Arsenal & QPR academy and made his way to Ajax and eventually being called up to the Wales NT.

The curious tale of the football international nobody ever heard of (because he was born in the wrong month)

I noticed it on time, started making a transfer, opened a story on another tab and then it was ten past four...

Not surprised really. The same thing has come up as a question about academic achievement of summer babies as well.

If I'd been born in September rather than July, I'd be a genius by now!

I'd still be shit at football though.

Credit where it's due because I thought they would struggle last night without Ings.

That goal had my level of power on it.

Bruno Fernandes on a hat trick without a penalty means Varchester will strike soon, yeah?

Like the team that lost to Istanbul until Everton scored. Like the team that beat PSG since.

No idea how United didn't get a penalty for that foul on Maguire.

Is Pogba’s form really so bad that he can’t start over Fred or McTominay?

    Because Maguire pushed Pickford before.

Yes. Fred has been one of the few bright spots this season.
