I feel like today I've gone from "I am totally ready for tonight" to "I feel like I'm going to throw up the first time trump wins a state"

Fuck. Only two of those states allow the ballots to flow in past tonight. I believe NH required them to be in by 5pm.

Looks like they have some parts of the state in the central timezone. So while Florida closes at 7, which means some parts close at 7 ET and some parts close at 7 CT / 8 ET, Indiana and Kentucky both close at 6 PM, which means some parts don't close until 7 ET.

Time to finish watching Hill House and try my best to ignore tonight's results. Although I'll probably be checking in on my state since we should have all votes totaled tonight

On a policy matter, we're winning the battle

But for some reason, republicans are able to detach the people from the policy. 70% favor spending more on green and renewable energy. But republicans say "don't do it" and dems say "do it" and dems will only get 50% support

I get why people don’t care for it. But, when I finally got around to watching it, I personally really enjoyed it. I dunno.

First couple of counties starting to come in in Indiana

Trump up 68.3% to 29.7% in Greene. Won 74.1% to 21.1% in 2016
Trump up 68.3% to 29.9% in DeKalb. Won 71.3% to 23.3% in 2016

    seems like an okay start?

So unless it changes as I type this...one county in Indiana has reported some results according to the times.

52% of the county has reported and Biden is already only like 699 votes away from passing Clinton’s vote total in that county. It’s a deep red one.

Not sure what Indiana’s vote was liek tiis year with dearly vote or mail in or etc

Well, obviously it doesn’t spell disaster, but certainly not great news in Indiana. He’s basically performing just as well as he did in 2016. What the fuck is wrong with people in Bloomington?

Very little, but they can give an early indication if polling is/was on target and what the shift in the electorate might look like. Parts of the states are also likely correlated with nearby parts of Ohio, which could give some info about the outcome.

    But, again, very little.
