This comes about a day after Dana said the fight was done.
I’d imagine Dustin wasn’t happy with whatever money was offered to him. And Dustin probably doesn’t have PPV points in his deal so it’s likely not a red panty night for him fighting Conor.

So essentially what’s going to happen is: Dana is going to say he didn’t want to fight and we’re gonna end up with fucking Conor vs Chandler or some shit.

Rob probably asked for a different date/more time. Dana said take it or leave it, and when these guys don’t give in that’s what he does. Goes in front of the camera and makes the fighters look like they’re ducking the fights they try to negotiate. Puts public pressure on them and attempts to make them look scared so they feel a need to do the fight.

 

I wouldn't mind if he would literally ever just admit "We couldn't come to an agreement on payment" or "We couldn't make any dates work out for both guys". You keep getting guys jawing at each other and publicly agreeing on fights via Twitter (Jon/Francis, Tony/Dustin, Conor/Dustin, etc.) yet he'll say with a straight face, "We offered him the fight and he didn't want it." Yeah, I'm sure...

 

Dana is a scumbag. Tons of fighters are scumbags. Huge part of the reason I’ve begun caring less and less about this sport, and almost completely stopped supporting it financially, over the last couple of years.
