Yeah it’s pretty obvious why the Harris County clerk is doing what he’s doing. There drive-thru votes already cast will likely be counted, but if they leave those sites open tomorrow and the Fifth Circuit rules against them, all of the Election Day votes could be thrown out as illegally cast. Better to not even risk it.
