I remember the 2008 election, feeling like it was wrapped up once McCain appeared on the "SNL" cold open and basically said "We ran out of money. Palin is gonna run in 2012." I would love to have that confidence again.

 

also: protests get violent in response. right (including the centerist dems) strongly condemn the protests and cracks down on them, but also continues to argument that we need guns to stop the government from taking over.
